State-of-the-art equipment is our vehicle and passion is the fuel that gets us there! The eye is a small yet powerful organ; it has a multitude of capabilities! Our eyes communicate and learn, often without us realizing. Miraculously both internal and external, the eye is the only organ that is connected directly to the brain while exposed to the elements. The fact that only delicate layers of cells, tissue, and photo receptors make our vision possible makes us wonder how something so small can be so important. WE are reminded of how technology and biology are so closely knitted together and it prides us to be able to offer Custom Eyes-ed visual solutions for every individual, regardless of budget or style. More About Dr. Stubbs
​
Dr. Kade Stubbs is excited to work alongside Custom Eyes as a proud independent optometrist and start his own legacy with Henderson Family Eyecare where he can better personalize eye care vs where he previously practiced in a corporate chain setting. He attained his bachelor’s degree in biology and went on to complete his doctorate in optometry at the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas. Dr. Stubbs enjoys prescribing glasses, fitting contact lens, and assessing the full health of the ocular system.
Dr. Stubbs met his wonderful wife while in Texas and together they have fully embraced Nevada living since moving to the desert. They are avid Golden Knights fans and love cheering them on. Dr. Stubbs also enjoys good eatin’ and getting dirty in the great outdoors when he can, Mt Charleston and the nearby national parks are favorite getaways. He’s always happy to discuss sports, hiking, fishing, and bbq with anybody.
Dr. Stubbs is also fluent in Filipino (Tagalog) and is continually learning to improve his Spanish skills.
He is passionate about his life’s calling and hopes to help each patient that comes in see better and improve their quality of life with good vision.
