Broken Lenses and damaged eyeglass frame
Some frames that do not have nose pad arms will not fit smaller noses. This will cause the frame to rest on the cheeks.
This newly fitted nose pad arm system will lift the frame off of the cheeks of the wearer. The optical center of the lens will be placed correctly AND no lines will be drawn on the cheeks due to the weight of the frame.
This is an important step. By doing this, the new pad arm system will not have any obstructions. Your Optician will be able to adjust the frame properly. (The roughed/filed side may be slightly unsymmetrical) This is un-visible from the front side.
